====== How to share files/folders in DC ======

1. Log in to your DCP account and go to **[Files]**.

2. Search for the file/folder. Then, click on the share button as shown below.

3. In the search box, you may either write down the recipient username (DCP user), email address (DCP and non DCP users) or federated cloud ID (DCP user).

4. Accessibility for the files or folder contents are adjustable by clicking on the {{:files:option.png?30|}} icon.

You may select **[ X Unshare ]** if you wish to no longer share the file or folder.

5. You may also share the file/folder via **share link** by clicking on the **+** icon as shown below.

6. Then, click on the icon below to copy the link.

7. You may click on {{:files:option.png?30|}} icon to adjust the accessibility of the file/folder for the recipients.

8. These are the examples for some of the accessibility of the links:

No restrictions in the accessibility will direct the recipients to a page similar to the sample below. They may upload, download and make any changes to the content.

This is an example if you set the link to **Hide download**.
